Public Policy Club

Freelance Project
Overview
Over three months, I completed a full redesign and rebuild of the client's website. Their existing WordPress site was becoming difficult to maintain, so I helped them transition to Wix Studio - a platform that would allow future executives to update and manage content without technical expertise.

Information Architecture & UX Design
I started by sketching wireframes to map out a clear navigation structure. This involved reorganizing the site hierarchy, determining the most logical way to group pages, and deciding what content belonged where. Ultimately, the goal was to create an intuitive user experience that would let visitors quickly find what they needed, without confusion.
Visual Design & User Interface
The focus was on straightforward navigation and readability for the nine pages I designed. To achieve this, I chose readable fonts, harmonious colors and added graphics that added visual interest without cluttering the page.
Project Coordination
To support the handover, I created documentation for future executives to easily update the site without technical skills. Regular meetings kept the clients up to date on my progress, and ensured the final design worked for both them and their users.

The design of each page went through rounds of refinements, such as the homepage here.
